About Habitat
Eliminating poverty housing, changing lives, one family at a time.
Habitat For Humanity of Montrose County became an affiliate in July 1991. We will have constructed 42 Habitat homes by the end of 2011. The Summer of 2011 we begin reaching out to serve more families in our community through our ‘Repair” program.
Habitat’s board consists of 16 board members, with four members as part of an executive board. Refer to our Habitat board and staff section, to get a glimpse of who they are.
Quarterly we issue a newsletter that goes out to nearly 1000 persons. We have a facebook page and current blog site and welcome your comments and ideas.
