Committees
Executive Committee: Tyler Hawkins, Ellie Dooley, Pastor Mike Rime, Patricia Reitz, Betty Tomlinson and Robin Berndt our executive director.
Family Partnering Committee - Providing Habitat homeowners and prospective homeowners with a mutual support system, educational opportunities and a forum for discussion pertaining to home ownership and maintenance, all for the purpose of empowering families to break the cycle of poverty and become independent. Our current committee consist of: Paula Brown, Connie Stoutt and Amber Solar.
Family Selection Committee - Recommending applicant families to the Board of Directors for consideration of homeownership. Establishing the family selection criteria and process for screening and interviewing applicant families. Our current committee members are: Elizabeth Gerbrick, Rosemary Murphy, Marianne Cross, Paula Brown, Darla Gilder,Bill Bond, Virginia West and Don Preissner.
Hospitality Committee – Acts as the affiliate’s host in all things pertaining to food and housing for local and out-of-town work groups as well as visiting Habitat representatives. Our committee is: member Linda Quade. We are currently seeking someone to take over as chair person for this committee, please contact 252-9303 if interested, Thank you.
Construction Committee - Bill Bond
Fund Development Committee – Purpose is to assist the Montrose affiliate in reaching our fundraising goals. Committee chairperson is Robin Berndt, members are: Betty Tomlinson, Marianne Cross, Ellie Dooley, Bill Bond
Church Relations Committee - Developes Inter-Faith Relations with our community churches. This Committee chairperson is Carolyn Hickerson.
