Critical Home Repair is extensive interior and exterior work performed to alleviate critical health, life and safety issues or code violations.  It is not for emergency situations or for remodeling a home.  It may include components of weatherization as well.

The applicants are choosen for these programs, as well as our new builds based on need.

 This program is another way that Habitat is reaching out into our community.  We help low income homeowners with exterior fix up of the home and clean up of the yard. As in keeping with our mission, ABWK is not a hand out, but a hand up.

• You must own and occupy the home in Montrose County that needs and could benefit from exterior improvements.
• Must meet the income guidelines in our brochure information.
• Must be willing to partner with Habitat.
• Must be unable to afford necessary home improvements and unable to complete them otherwise due to age, disability, or circumstance.
